MellowDayLondon
I am a freelance features writer for print and online publications with an emphasis on promotional material and arts reviews for recently opened West End shows. Last year the credit-crunch claimed some brilliant new productions and ticket sales were sluggish for some shows despite the rave reviews. Thankfully, sales have picked up again and the theatregoers' appetite for musicals is growing. By the end of 2012, there will be as many as 29 musicals showing in London's West End - a staggering number. Although I tend to review musical theatre, I am beginning to write comedies and monologues.
I write independently and the reviews and show features appearing on this site and on www.fionaelister.com are a true reflection of what you can expect to see for your money. I have worked as a freelance writer for 15 years and am just beginning to write plays and monologues, as well as writing numerous health and lifestyle articles for e-zines, Hub Pages and Google content.
